Payam is an Engineering Director at Borealis, leading and overseeing the software development of ML-driven products for multiple lines of businesses. Payam received his B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Sharif University and his M.Sc. in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University, both focused on AI and ML. With over a decade of software engineering experience, Payam joined Borealis AI in 2019 to combine his educational background and passion in AI/ML with his expertise in building complex software products. Prior to joining Borealis AI Payam was busy building various types of software systems across companies of all sizes. The most recent one was at Apple, architecting and building highly distributed systems for detecting and preventing fraud.
