John is a software technology executive with more than 25 years experience successfully leading and building high performance technology teams and delivering world-class software products. He has worked in multiple FinTech verticals including personal banking, commercial lending, risk analytics and wealth management.
Prior to joining Borealis AI, John served as Chief Technology Officer at Ascend Fundraising Solutions, a small, high-growth technology company focused on delivering market-leading products to charities and non-profits across North America. Before that he held senior technology leadership roles at Zag Bank, D+H, Numerix, FIS and Algorithmics. John has a BASc in Engineering Science, and an MASc and PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, all from the University of Toronto.
